Despite Distractions...

...I got a lot of new pages written. Obviously, this week was exciting, but I tried very hard to stay focused on my WIP. I don't really have a choice--there's only fifteen days left before the Golden Heart submissions deadline and I need to make the best of every one.

But I'll admit it was tough. I had to give myself a dozen little rewards for not straying from my story--a pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks if I got five more pages done, a couple of cookies if I made my day's quota, and yes, chocolate if I kept my butt in the chair and my screen open to Word and not the internet. I did pretty good, LOL. Not quite what I was aiming for, but still enough to put me in reach of my goal.
