Heads-Down

Writing Life
I'm busy working on edits. Nothing drastic, just a few nips and tucks. One thing I really enjoy about going back to a manuscript I've put aside is falling in love with hero all over again. Great fun.

Another reason I'm a little quieter than normal is it's hard for me to read all the excitement on the loops about the upcoming RWA National Conference. I so wish I could go--not only because I'm a GH finalist, but also because it's my chance to meet up with writer friends who are spread across the country. On-line visits just can't compare to sharing a meal or a drink face-to-face. But a trip to San Fran is not in the cards for this year. Oh well, there's always next year.

Besides, I've got to get another book done before the GH deadline in the fall. Assuming I'm still eligible to enter, of course. wink
