More Tech Problems

Writing Life
This has been a troublesome year for me tech-wise. Earlier in the year I had several website issues, and then this weekend my monitor went on the fritz. Granted, as far as computer problems go, a broken monitor isn't so bad, but no monitor basically means no computer. So, today, as soon as I verified that's what the problem was, I was off shopping for a new one. The positive side? I ended up with a bigger monitor, which is really great for word processing.

I didn't give in to the natural urge to give up writing for the past day and half. Nope, I whipped out the trusty pen and paper, and did my writing the old-fashioned way. It was refreshing in some ways. No temptation to constantly edit, just several hours of solid writing, and although I won't know how many words I wrote until I get it all typed up, I feel like I accomplished a lot.

My word count up to the end of Saturday was:

12,000 / 100,000
